CONCERT / KIRTAN

A 13 HANDS kirtan / sound healing, accompaniment and/or contemporary concert is a combination of Sacred Indian and Native American inspired chants, Shamanic soul singing / world rhythm pieces and songs that weave a powerful and meditative experience whether you chant or just embrace the vibrations and listen.   With the aid of harmonium, Hang drum, native flutes, guitar and various percussion, 13 HANDS weaves a sonic tapestry that opens the heart, brings a sense of humor while allowing for mind, body and spirit growth and evolution.

 

SOUND MEDITATION / DRUMMING CIRCLE

Sound Meditation workshops involve gentle restorative yoga poses or just svasana (corpse pose) while DALIEN composes a live soundtrack of deeply ambient textures and sound to create a profound and relaxing parasympathetic response in the body.  Again, flutes, gongs, ambient guitar textures, hang drum and chanting create this Pink Floydian-esque trip into a very healing place within the mind and body.

Drumming circles involve lots of drums… not real rocket science here..  But 13 HANDS acts as the conductor to engage and allow the “tribe” to let go, move and drum in a place of freedom and openness without feeling judged.  Participants bring drums or percussion and the rest is about getting everyone to connect, speak, share and listen to one another through rhythm.

SHAMANIC SOUND HEALING RITUALS

These are very deep, introspective and healing experiences involving meditative and trance-like states created with ancient drumming, rattling, sound bowls, chants and vocal toning.  Similar to sound meditation but unique to its self as it connects and draws its inspiration from the Shamanic philosophies of the Medicine Wheel and the Four Directions.  It’s a shamanic journey where anything is possible in the dream state that is created.   Power animals, visions and visitations are just some of the profound and beautiful experiences one can connect with through this work.  There are no drugs or hallecinogens used in these ceremonies.

 

SOUND / MUSIC ACCOMPANIMENT FOR CLASSES, TEACHERS, EVENTS, ETC.

Using his arsenal of world and contemporary instruments, 13 HANDS provides ambient soundscapes and “soundtrack-ing” to your event, class, workshop, retreat or event in either a supportive role or in partnership capacity.
